Prof. Xiao is Elected Member of Cumulus Executive Board

耿丹数字技术学院代表团于5月27日-6月1日受邀赴芬兰参加为期6天的Cumulus联盟大会。本次大会由全球150多所院校共同投票决定产生了新一届Cumulus执行理事会，我院肖勇教授代表中国高票当选。

From May 27 to June 1, GAD teachers were invited to participate in Cumulus Conference Finland. In the conference, more than 150 colleges and universities around the world voted to elect new Cumulus Executive Board, and Professor Xiao Yong was elected on behalf of China with high votes.

本次竞选分为两轮，每位竞选者有5分钟演讲时间。数字技术学院学术委员会主任肖勇教授经两轮投票，以105票的总票数高票当选新一届Cumulus执行理事会成员，在18名候选人中脱颖而出。这标志着在全球教育平台上中国设计和教育的重要性。

There are two rounds for this election, with each candidate given five minutes to speak. After two rounds of voting, Prof. Xiao, Director of GAD Academic Committee, was elected as member of the Cumulus Executive Board out of 18 candidates by 105 votes, which represents the importance of Chinese design and education on the global education platform.

肖勇教授历任国际设计联合会副主席，积极倡导设计教育国际化，不断促进海内外设计交流，被设计界誉为中国设计特使,并为耿丹设计走向国际作出不懈努力。

Prof. Xiao has served as Vice President of International Council of Design, actively advocating the globalization of design education, and constantly promoting the exchange of design at home and abroad. He is praised as messenger of Chinese design in the circle, and has made unremitting efforts for GAD to go international.

耿丹数字技术学院位于北京顺义。专业有视传、环境、产品、数媒、动画、戏美。国际艺术设计院校联盟CUMULUS成员。80%以上的教师曾海外学习，学院以市场为导向、尊重个性、注重前沿学科、专业融合和国际化发展。数个专业开设英文国际班和双学位项目。已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作和师生交换。院长林子杰，学术主任肖勇。
