GAD Film Modeling Course Show

 

 

 

4月23日，耿丹数字技术学院17级戏剧影视美术设计专业人物造型方向15名学生在艺术楼一层举办“影视角色塑造”结课展，指导老师杨捷茹。本次展览旨在提高学生在影视角色塑造中对服装设计思维的理解和运用能力，理论与实践相结合，引导学生将设计草图转变为实物。

On April 23, 15 students of Grade 17 from GAD Art Design for Drama, Television and Film Program in the direction of character modeling, held the Film Modeling Course Show on the first floor of the art building under the guidance of teacher Yang Jieru. This course show aims to improve students’ ability to understand and apply costume design thinking in film and television role shaping, combine theory with practice, and guide students to turn design sketches into real objects.

本次展览共展出120幅设计草图和13件小型样衣。课程第一次尝试将平面和立体裁剪两种结构设计方法融合，教学效果显著。学生围绕设计创意，自主研究人体结构与服装造型之间的关联。因为有两种结构设计思维的对照和互相转换，学生能够更容易地理解和掌握结构设计的核心主旨，从而启发了学生主动探索的意识。课程在评分方式上也尝试参考开放式的公众投票结果。

The show features 120 sketches and 13 small samples. For the first time, this course attempts to integrate the two structural design methods of plane cutting and draping.  Students independently study the relationship between human body structure and modeling around the creativity in design. Through the contrast and mutual conversion of two structural design thinking, students can more easily understand and grasp the core concept of structural design, so as to develop the consciousness of active exploration. The course also attempts to use open public voting for its grading.

本次展览运用了综合材料的创意绘制，结合以往的教学案例和参考资料谨慎地推敲和确定了适合平面、立体裁剪两种设计方法的经典案例，培养学生服装设计技巧和处理样板细节的能力，为后续科幻服装造型的课题设计打下基础。

The course show used composite materials for creative drawing, discussed and determined the classic cases for plane cutting and draping by the reference of previous teaching cases and resources, cultivated students’ ability to use dress design skill and deal with model details, which lay the foundation for subsequent science fiction modeling project design.
