“Writing”lectures by Maryann and Connell

 

 

2019年5月6日至5月11日，来自爱尔兰都柏林理工大学的资深理论教授Maryann Bolger和Connell Vaughan加入了张璐璐授课的论文准备课程，对视觉传达设计国际班16级学生开始了为期六天的写作特训。
From May 6 to May 11, 2019, senior theory professors Maryann Bolger and Connell Vaughan from Technological University Dublin in Ireland joined Lulu Zhang’s paper preparation course and began a six-day writing training for 16 students in the International Class of Visual Communication Design.

课程系统了讲授了论文写作的要点及论文各部分内容的构成，同时导师们针对同学们此前两周的论文研究问题，进行了一对一的辅导，不但指出每个学生遇到的的问题，而且引导学生不断调研与思考，从而使学生对自己的论文主题有更深的理解。论文准备课程对学生们来说十分重要，熟知并掌握论文的逻辑和结构能够很大程度上提高论文写作的水平。
The course systematically teaches the essentials of paper writing and the composition of each part of the paper. At the same time, the tutors conducted one-to-one tutoring for the students’ previous two weeks’ paper research problems. They not only pointed out the problems encountered by each student, but also guided the students to continuously investigate and think, thus enabling students to have a deeper understanding of their thesis topics. Paper preparation course is very important for students. Knowing and mastering the logic and structure of the paper can greatly improve the level of paper writing.

期间，16级学生还和外教前往了798艺术街区参观了各种展览，导师们为学生们着重解读了怀旧之情(The Nostalgia)和旅游纪念品设计之间的关系。学生们在这段时间内受益颇多，对此次课程评价很高。
During this period, students of Grade Three and foreign teachers also visited various exhibitions in 798 Art blocks. The tutors focused on the relationship between The Nostalgia and souvenir design. Students have benefited a lot during this period, and have a high opinion of this course.
