GAD Students Visit BASE FX

2019年5月27日，耿丹数字技术学院戏剧影视美术设计专业17级学生在王征老师和欧璇老师的带领下，前往亚洲顶级特效公司BASE FX及其旗下的BASE学院进行了深入交流。

On May 27, 2019, under the leadership of Professor Wang Zheng and Professor Ou Xuan, the 17-level students of Theater Art of GAD went to BASE FX, the top special effects company in Asia, and its BASE College.

BASE FX 视效创意总监、工业光魔特效艺术家T. LO女士为同学们展示了BASE FX近期的电影作品。以电影《长城》、《捉妖记2》的特效创作为例，T. LO讲解了好莱坞顶级数字环境的创作流程与制作方法，对当下主流的Clarisse的创作方法与实际应用进行了细致的解说。此外，T.LO还以电影《邪不压正》中的特效创作为例，讲解了其与导演姜文在电影镜头画面设计与前期Pre-vis视效预览中的规划与构思，展示了大量的视觉设计资料及电影镜头从设计到实现的完整流程。她表示，当下的电影特效不仅展现在后期阶段，而是越来越多地融入到前期创作中，为整部影片带来技术与艺术的完整视效保障。

Ms. T. LO, Director of Video Creativity of BASE FX and Special Effects Artist of Industrial Light and Magic, presented BASE FX’s recent film works to the students. Taking the special effects creation of the movies Great Wall and Catching Demons 2 as examples, T. LO explains the creation process and production method of Hollywood’s top digital environment, and elaborates on the current mainstream Clarisse’s creation method and practical application. In addition, T. LO also takes the special effects creation in the film “evil is not correct” as an example to explain its planning and conception with director Jiang Wen in the picture design and pre-Pre-vis visual effect preview of the film lens, showing a large number of visual design materials and the complete process of the film lens from design to implementation. She said that the current special effects of the film not only show in the late stage, but also more and more integrated into the early stage of creation, bringing the whole film a complete visual effect guarantee of technology and art.

通过行业顶级艺术家的经验分享，同学们对未来视效行业的人才需求标准有了直观的认知，为后续的学习规划打下了更好的目标基础。戏剧影视美术设计专业将进一步与BASE FX合作，为学生们提供更优质、专业的学习、实践平台与就业机会。

Through sharing the experience of the top artists in the industry, the students have an intuitive understanding of the talent demand standards of the future visual industry, which lays a better goal foundation for the follow-up learning planning. Drama, film and television art design major will further cooperate with BASE FX to provide students with better quality, professional learning, practice platform and employment opportunities.
