徐冰先生是当代国内外享有声誉的艺术家，此次同学们参观的展览是徐冰先生在北京地区最全面的回顾性个展，包括以版画、素描、装置、文献记录、手稿、影像、纪录片等为形式的六十余件作品，作品展现徐冰先生对于事物与其呈现形态之间的潜在疑虑，以及在细节表达的追求之间作品如何保持平衡。同学们受益良多。Mr. Xu Bing is a renowned contemporary artist in domestic and abroad. This exhibition is Mr. Xu Bing’s most comprehensive retrospective solo exhibition in Beijing. It includes more than 60 pieces of works in the form of prints, drawings, installations, documentaries, manuscripts, videos, documentaries and so on. The works show Mr. Xu Bing’s views on potential doubts about its presentation and how the work balances the pursuit of detailed expression. The students benefit a lot.

之后同学们为课题中有关字体的再设计来到了南锣鼓巷进行牌匾文字的调研工作。南锣鼓巷是北京最古老的街区之一，巷内有许多风格各异的个性牌匾，同学们通过选择自己感兴趣的牌匾以及对店面的深入了解来达到牌匾再设计的目的。
After that, the students came to Nanluogu Lane for the redesign of the fonts in the project to carry out the research work of the plaque characters. Nanluogu Lane is one of the oldest streets in Beijing. There are many individual plaques with different styles in the lane. Students can redesign the plaques by choosing the plaques they are interested in and understanding the storefront deeply.

本次参观与调研使同学们在拓展知识面的同时也加深了对于设计的理解，为之后的课题设计任务提供充实的资料储备。同时也帮助同学们更好的了解艺术，为今后的设计学习打下良好基础。
