数字技术学院学生参加书籍工作坊

GAD Students Attended Book Workshop

 

受北京“敬人纸语”工作室之邀，2019年6月1日，李钊老师带领数字技术学院视觉传达专业大二学生43人，赴该工作室参观学习。此次外出学习是“Imagine Making”课程的重要组成部分。

Invited by Beijing Jingren’s Paperlogue Studio, on June 1, 2019, 43 Year 2 students of Visual Communication, led by Ms. Li Zhao, went to visit the Studio. This visit is an integral part of the “Imagine Making” module.

首先，同学们参观了“敬人纸语”正在举办的高田唯设计展，了解了平面设计的相关设计方法和印刷材料。之后，“敬人纸语”的两位老师从不同方面、不同角度，进行了深入讲解，讲解涵盖了文创设计比赛的内容、概况、奖项设置等，使同学们对大型赛事有了更全面的认识。李老师针对书籍设计的需求，讲解了纸张、印刷的相关知识，对纸张的类别、特性、用途与工艺进行了辨识与对比，使得同学们真切地了解书籍设计中纸张的重要性。最后，同学们进入“敬人纸语”的工作坊参观学习，工坊的杨老师介绍了从排版、印刷、到最后的裁切与装订等一系列的相关材料和流程。

First of all, the students visited the Yu Takada Exhibition held by the Studio, and learned about the design methods and printing materials related to graphic design. Afterwards, two teachers from the Studio conducted in-depth explanations from different aspects and different angles, covering the content, overview, and awards setting of the cultural creative design contests, so that students have a more comprehensive understanding of large-scale events. Based on the needs of book design, Mr. Li explained relevant knowledge of paper and printing, compared the sorts, characteristics, usage and craft of different paper types, helping students understand paper’s importance in book design. Finally, the students went to visit the workshop of Jingren’s Paperlogue. Mr. Yang from the workshop introduced a series of related materials and processes ranging from typesetting, printing to final cutting and binding.

整个过程中，同学们与工作室的老师热烈地交流和讨论，既学到了知识，又开阔了眼界，纷纷表示不虚此行。

Throughout the visiting, GAD students exchanged and discussed enthusiastically with teachers from the Studio. They not only learned knowledge, but also broadened their horizons, saying that it was a worthwhile trip.
