Professor Ji Yu graduated from the Oil-Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1981 and taught in the secondary school attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He went to the United States to study in 1983. In 1989, he completed his master’s degree in oil-painting and printmaking at Newport College, New York State University. Since 1999, he has taught in the Department of Art, Long Beach State University, California, USA.

计宇教授的油画与素描作品在北京、天津、广州、纽约、费城、芝加哥、洛杉矶等地展出，作品被广州美术学院美术馆、中国油画院、香港中文大学等地收藏。其中，肖像作品“詹姆斯·米若里斯画像”收藏于英国苏格兰国家肖像画廊。

Professor Ji Yu’s paintings and sketches are exhibited in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles. His works are collected by the Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Among them, the portrait of James Mirolis is collected in the National Portrait Gallery of Scotland.

计宇教授参与美国南伊利诺伊大学、美国纽约布法罗州立学院、明尼苏达墨海德州立大学、威斯康星大学白水分校、俄克拉荷马州立大学、洛杉矶拜欧拉大学、洛杉矶莱门艺术基金会、德克萨斯拉玛州立大学、斯坦福大学东亚图书馆等多个学术访问与研究项目。

Professor Ji Yu participated in many academic visits and research projects such as the University of South Illinois, Buffalo State College in New York, Mexico State University in Minnesota, Whitewater University of Wisconsin, Oklahoma State University, Bayola University in Los Angeles, Lehman Art Foundation in Los Angeles, Texas Rama State University, and East Asia Library of Stanford University.

作为美国大学中国艺术家学会的成员，计宇教授创建了“穿越分界”学术论坛，并积极组织和参与该学会在中美两国各地举办的学术活动。

As a member of the Chinese Artists Association of American Universities, Professor Ji Yu founded the Academic Forum of "Crossing the Border", and actively organized and participated in the academic activities organized by the Academy in China and the United States.  

 

耿丹数字技术学院位于北京顺义。开设有视传、环艺、产品、数媒、动画、戏美，国际艺术设计院校联盟会员。其中80%以上的教师曾海外学习，数专业开设国际双学位项目，已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作。
