10月10日，耿丹国际设计学院18级环境设计国际班在艺术楼一层举行“Observing Drawings 图解 手绘”课程展览汇报，DIT教授Thomas Leggett 、学术委员会主任肖勇、国际设计院长林子杰、环境国际负责人陈琳、指导老师赵一诺参加了本次展览。展览了环境国际18-1班24名学生手绘创作的近26幅课程作品及过程手稿草图。

On October 10, GAD held an exhibition of “Observing Drawings” on the first floor of the Art Building, which presented nearly 26 draft sketches of 24 students from the environmental design International class 18-1. Professor Thomas Leggett of DIT, Director of the Academic Committee, Xiao Yong, Dean of GAD Lin Zijie, Director of Environmental design programme Chen Lin and the instructor Zhao Yinuo participated in the exhibition.

本课程是环境国际班大一入学第一门课程，课程立足于引领与启发学生对设计思维的建立及对环艺专业内容的认知，了解世界顶级设计师项目设计思维及经典项目案例。通过逐步建立专业性可视化语言的方式锻炼学生手绘的能力与设计思维的表达。同时将课程与参观顶级设计师Norman Foster模型展相结合，通过对顶级设计师经典项目的设计概念学习与项目模型的观察，训练学生思维转译手绘形式表达，并进行作品的展览现场汇报。
通过短暂三周的学习，同学们受益匪浅。耿丹国际设计学院将不断培养具备国际化视野与设计创意，了解中国设计市场的国际化、应用型人才。

This course is the first course for freshmen of the environmental design International Class. It is based on guiding and inspiring students to establish design thinking and understanding the contents of the environmental art specialty. Through the gradual establishment of professional visual language to train students’ hand-painted ability and the expression of design thinking, the course combines with visiting the top designer Norman Foster Model Exhibition. Through the study of design concepts and the observation of project models of top designers’ classical projects, students are trained to transform their thinking mode into the expression of hand-painted forms.

通过短暂三周的学习，同学们受益匪浅。耿丹国际设计学院将不断培养具备国际化视野与设计创意，了解中国设计市场的国际化、应用型人才。

Through the three weeks’ study, the students have benefited deeply. GAD will continue to cultivate the internationalized and creative application-oriented talents.
