10月24日，耿丹国际设计学院环境设计专业在艺术楼一层举行风景园林植物结课汇报暨“名人纪念园或名人故居”设计展。本次展览作品在刘宇老师的指导下，由2016级景观工作室的同学创作完成。环境设计专业负责人李明老师到现场参观指导。
On October 24, the environmental design programme of GAD held a lecture on Landscape Architecture plants and a design exhibition of “Celebrity Memorial Garden or Celebrity Residence” on the first floor of the art building. Under the guidance of the instructor Liu Yu, the exhibition was created by 2016 Grade landscape studio students. Li Ming, the director of environmental design, visited the site.

展览以“名人纪念园或名人故居”为主题，同学们自选一位主人公，为其设计故居或纪念园。同学们经过几周的风景园林植物课程的学习之后，掌握了植物种植设计的基本原理以及配置方法，在主题设计中结合名人的经历及社会背景等相关信息，在方案设计中得以体现，于此同时，将植物种植设计的内容在设计实践中得以运用。在展览现场，李明老师对同学们的设计作品进行了点评与指导，肯定了同学们在课程学习阶段的成果和进步，同时也指出个别同学在方案表达的细节方面可以有进一步的深化和提高。
The theme of the exhibition is “Celebrity Memorial Garden or Celebrity Former Residence”. Students choose a protagonist to design their former residence or memorial garden. After a few weeks’ study of landscape plants, the students have mastered the basic principles and configuration methods of plant planting design, and combined celebrity experience and social background with other relevant information in the theme design, which can be reflected in the scheme design. At the same time, the contents of plant planting design will be embodied in the design practice can be used. At the exhibition site, the instructor Li Ming commented on and guided the students’ design works, affirmed the achievements and progress of the students in the course of learning, and pointed out that individual students can further deepen and improve the details of the program expression.

通过本次课程及展览，激发了同学们的学习与设计兴趣，使同学们深刻体会到了植物种植设计在空间营造方面的重要作用，也使同学们意识到景观设计中手绘表达的重要意义，为今后的学习奠定了基础。
Through this course and exhibition, the students’ interest in learning and design was stimulated, and the students deeply realized the important role of plant planting design in space construction. The students also realized the importance of hand-painted expression in landscape design and laid a foundation for future study.
