GAD Faculty Meeting for New Semester

 

 

2019年2月22日，耿丹国际设计学院教职员工召开新学期第一次全体教师例会，邀请丁晓良副院长、国际合作与交流处田野处长、王小宇副处长参会。会议围绕国际合作与交流工作、精品课程汇报、学生工作、新学期工作计划四个内容展开。

On February 22, 2019, GAD held the first regular faculty meeting in the new semester, inviting BGD Deputy President Ding Xiaoliang, Director TianYe, and Deputy Director Wang Xiaoyu, from International Office to participate in the meeting. The conference focused on international cooperation and exchange, excellent course report, student work and new semester work plan.

田野处长提出国际合作交流本学期的重点工作是“引进来”。3月将邀请英国International House London评估机构对学校的英文授课课程进行评估与指导。学校将引进欧美发达国家的交换生来院学习，各个学院提供不同课程，建立留学生课程平台；引进国外高校来院做工作坊，打造品牌化的工作坊与课程。田野处长提出本学期将了解老师们海外交流的需求、考察英文水平，形成持续派出教师进行海外学习交流整体计划。

Director Tian Ye put forward that the key work of this semester is to “bring in”. In March, the International House London Assessment Institution will be invited to evaluate and guide the GAD courses taught in English. Exchange students from developed countries in Europe and the United States to will be introduced to study in GADl. Each school will provide different courses and establish a platform for them. We will also introduce foreign colleges and universities to our workshops to create branded workshops and courses. Director Tian Ye proposed that this semester we would learn about the teachers’ needs for overseas exchange, investigate their English proficiency, and form an overall plan of sending teachers for overseas study and exchange.

会议上，荣获2018-2019年第一学期精品课程评选前四名的李钊、陈琳、杨雁雁、王征老师进行了课程分享。丁晓良副院长听取了四位老师的汇报，给出了高度的评价及中肯的意见，同时提出五点建议：第一，精品课程的建设应该是每位老师的职责，要按照精品课程的标准来验证所有的课程。第二，bat365官网登录入口要建立网上公开课平台，让全社会的人都能在网上平台选课、听课。第三，做好跨专业、跨学院的融合。第四，设计学院的课程都有带学生外出考察的环节，建议各位老师要把同学们在车上的时间利用起来，进行交流和分享。第五，老师们要认识到设计的崇高性，重要性。 

At the meeting, teachers Li Zhao, Chen Lin, Yang Yanyan and Wang Zheng, who won the top four in the selection of high-quality courses for the first semester of 2018-2019, shared their courses. Deputy President Ding listened to the report of the four teachers, gave a high evaluation and pertinent opinions, and put forward five suggestions. Firstly, the construction of quality courses should be the responsibility of every teacher, and all courses should be verified according to the standards of quality courses. Secondly, BGD should establish an online open course platform, so that the whole society can choose courses and attend lectures on the online platform. Thirdly, we should integrate different majors and schools. Fourthly, the courses of GAD all have the practice of taking students out for investigation. It is suggested that teachers should make good use of students’ time on the way to communicate and share. Fifthly, teachers should realize the significance of design.

学工办负责人张淳淞老师汇报了新学期的学生工作总体思路，对学生工作进行重新定位，辅导员老师进行角色的转变，做好协调者。围绕学生培养的核心要素（道德、责任、职业素养等）调整规章制度、设计学生活动、改进工作方法等进行整体工作设计，并邀请优秀班导师时晓明和陈琳老师做工作经验分享。本学期的学生工作将加强与专业教研室、任课教师、班导师队伍的沟通与融合，形成合力，共同助力学生发展。

Zhang Chunsong, Director of student affairs office, reported the general idea of student work in the new semester, and redefined the student work. He also pointed that the role of the instructor teacher should be a good coordinator. The overall student work should be based on the core elements of student cultivation (morality, responsibility, professional quality, etc.), adjusting rules and regulations, designing student activities, and improving work methods. Later, Zhang invited excellent class tutors Shi Xiaoming and Chen Lin to share their work experience. This semester’s student work will strengthen the communication and integration with the professional teachers and class tutor team, in order to form a joint force and help students’ development.

林子杰院长对新学期的工作计划及工作重点进行了汇报与交流。林院长围绕着如何推进设计教育教学研究，加强专业建设、课程建设、教学管理队伍建设，以及2019届毕业设计工作、招生与宣传工作等方面，对新学期的工作进行了部署安排，并提出了更高目标和具体要求。相信通过全体教职员工的共同努力，本学期国际设计学院将有更高的提升与发展。

GAD Dean Lin Zijie put forward the work plan and key points of the new semester. Centering on how to promote design education and teaching research, to strengthen professional construction, curriculum construction, teaching management team construction, and 2019 graduation design work, enrollment and publicity work, Dean Lin made arrangements for the work of the new semester, and set higher goals and specific requirements. It is believed that through the joint efforts of all the faculty and staff, GAD will have a higher level of promotion and development this semester.

耿丹国际设计学院位于北京顺义。开设有视传、环艺、产品、数媒、动画、戏美，国际艺术设计院校联盟会员。其中80%以上的教师曾海外学习，数专业开设国际双学位项目，已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作。
