Casting Process Show of GAD
耿丹国际设计学院产品设计专业2017级学生于11月22日在首饰工作室一层举办“首饰铸造工艺”课程展览。本次展览的作品包含27名首饰设计方向的学生设计并制作的30余件首饰作品，课程指导老师薛瑶。
GAD, Grade 2017, students majoring in product design, held an exhibition on “Jewelry Casting Technology” on the first floor of the jewelry studio on November 22. The exhibition includes more than 30 jewelry works designed and produced by 27 students in jewelry design direction. Xue Yao, the course instructor, is the exhibitor.
“铸造工艺”课程是产品设计专业第3学期的首饰工艺入门课程。课程分为三个部分：第一部分设计训练，要求绘制出一件（套）完整设计图；第二部分技法训练，全部珠宝铸造工艺训练，融蜡、锯蜡、雕蜡，后期金属锯搓磨等工艺；第三部分，成品制作，确定设计方案后，将学习过的铸造工艺技法运其中，进行设计方案制作。
The course “Casting Technology” is the introduction course of jewelry Technology in the third semester of product design specialty. The course is divided into three parts: the first part is design training, which requires drawing a complete design plan; the second part is technique training, which includes all jewelry casting process training, wax melting, wax sawing, wax carving, metal sawing and rubbing in the later stage; the third part is finished product production, after defining the design plan, casting that will be studied. Technologies are used to design and produce the design.
学生在课程中进行铸造工艺知识系统全面学习应用，熟练掌握知识与制作方法，了解并学习到系统的首饰设计方法及当代首饰创作思维、基本金工基础和铸造工艺。课程通过对当代首饰概念和首饰边界性的探讨发掘学生创意思维、进而借由特定工艺实现设计表达。通过学习可锻炼学生创意思维能力、设计能力，推进设计方案完成及作品市场化等能力。个人课题强化独立的创意设计、徒手技能、批判性思维实践能力培养，解决实际问题，从而胜任定制珠宝产品设计制作、奢饰品设计制作的工作。
In the course, students learn and apply foundry technology knowledge system in an all-round way, master knowledge and production methods skillfully, understand and learn the systematic jewelry design method and contemporary jewelry creative thinking, basic metalworking foundation and foundry technology. Through discussing the concept of contemporary jewelry and the boundary of jewelry, the course explores students’creative thinking and realizes design expression by means of specific technology. Through learning, students’creative thinking ability and design ability can be trained, and the ability of completing design schemes and marketization of works can be promoted. Personal topics strengthen independent creative design, bare-handed skills, critical thinking and practical ability to solve practical problems, so as to be competent for customized jewelry product design and production, luxury jewelry design and production.
本次展览呈现了同学们融入当代首饰设计理念与个人思考的作品，层次丰富，不拘泥于传统的首饰设计定义，更具创新性和共情性。
This exhibition presents students’works that integrate contemporary jewelry design concepts and personal thinking. It is rich in levels, not rigid to the traditional definition of jewelry design, and more innovative and empathetic.

耿丹国际设计学院位于北京顺义。开设有视传、环艺、产品、数媒、动画、戏美，国际艺术设计院校联盟会员。其中80%以上的教师曾海外学习，数专业开设国际双学位项目，已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作。
