GAD Teachers and students visit Tsinghua Architecture Exhibition
9月20日，耿丹国际设计学院环境国际班负责人陈琳、教师刘屹、赵一诺、杨娜，带领大一国际班与16级室内工作室55名同学，赴清华大学艺术博物馆参观了诺曼.福斯特建筑特展。
On September 20, Chen Lin, who is in charge of the environment international class , and other GAD teachers Liu Yi, Zhao Yin and Yang Na, led 55 students of 2016 from Indoor Studio and the international class freshmen to visit the Norman Foster Architecture Exhibition in the art museum of Tsinghua University .

诺曼.佛斯特是国际上最杰出的建筑大师之一，也是第21届普利兹克建筑大奖得主。主要作品有首都国际机场新航站楼、大英博物馆大展苑改造、英国伦敦千禧桥等。通过参观调研建筑大师的手稿与模型，使学生近距离感受大师作品与设计思维，更深入的了解空间设计的魅力。同学们直观了解到设计是如何从概念草图一步步转化为最终方案。通过现场的模型与大师手稿，学生了解了空间与人、形式与比例、未来设计、人类与自然等之间的关系，对环境设计专业有了更多了解与认知，为未来的学习打下良好的基础。
Norman Foster is one of the world’s greatest architects and winner of the 21st Pritzker Architecture Prize. His main works include the new terminal of the Capital International Airport, the renovation of the Grand Garden of the British Museum and the Millennium Bridge in London. By visiting and investigating the master’s manuscripts and models students can get a close experience of his works and design thinking , and have adeeper understanding of the charm of space design. The students have an intuitive understanding of how the design is transformed from a concept sketch to a final solution step by step. Through the on-site model and master manuscript, the students learned about the relationship between space and human, form and proportion, future design, human and nature, etc., and gained more understanding and cognition of environmental.
