GAD visit the Gallery Weekend Beijing 

 

 

3月29日， 耿丹国际设计学院16级视觉传达国际班的学生在夏岩枫老师带领下参观了尤伦斯艺术中心、798艺术中心和央美美术馆，并邀请“画廊周北京”项目部负责人卜凡与学生沟通交流。

On March 29, students of Grade 16 Visual Communication International Class of GAD visited the Ullens Art Center, 798 Art Center and  Art Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of the instructor Xia Yanfeng, and invited Bufan, the head of the “Gallery Weekend Beijing” project department, to communicate with students.

“画廊周北京”是当代艺术圈的专业资深人才组织搭建的具有文化凝聚力的当代艺术推广平台。在“画廊周北京”期间，机构与艺术家合力呈现一年中最精彩的展览。观众可以充分体验并和每一间拥有不同气质的展览空间直接交流，更深刻地了解中国当代艺术的发展及其成长的土壤。

 “Gallery Weekend Beijing” is a platform for the promotion of contemporary art with cultural cohesion built by professional and senior talent organizations in the contemporary art circle. During “Gallery Weekend Beijing”, the organization and artists jointly presented the most wonderful exhibition of the year. Audiences can fully experience and communicate directly with each exhibition space with different temperaments, and have a deeper understanding of the development and growth of Chinese contemporary art.

师生们来到尤伦斯当代艺术中心参观了“邱志杰：寰宇全图”  展。展览汇聚了邱志杰关于哲学、社会、文化、艺术等一系列的思考成果，被艺术家本人命名为“世界地图计划”，在此次展览中所着重呈现的是近三年间的“地图”作品。

Teachers and students came to the Ullens Contemporary Art Center to visit the exhibition “Qiu Zhijie: Full Map of the Universe”. The exhibition gathers Qiu Zhijie’s thoughts on philosophy, society, culture and art. It is named “World Map Project” by the artist himself. In this exhibition, the works of “Map” in the past three years are highlighted.

之后师生们来到了现代汽车文化中心观看“准自然”主题展。展览第一部分展示生物艺术史上的经典作品，探讨生物伦理、技术边界、自我认知等方面；第二部分展示涉及微生物、动植物等题材，反思人类与其他物种在当下如何相处；第三部分“实验室作为惊奇发生器”，展现了有“艺术家驻地”之称的著名实验室，给同学们带来全新的体验。下午师生们来到央美美术馆观看了马克·奎恩的“皮相之下” ，展览涵盖了马克·奎恩30年来的20余件雕塑与绘画作品，而且是成体系地展现，使学生们全面地了解到他的独特艺术观念和创作特点。

After that, teachers and students came to the modern automobile culture center to watch the “quasi-natural” theme exhibition. The first part of the exhibition shows classical works in the history of bio-art, discussing bioethics, technological boundaries, self-recognition and other aspects; the second part shows subjects such as microorganisms, animals and plants, reflecting on how human beings and other species get along with each other at present; the third part, “Laboratory as a surprise generator”, shows the famous laboratory known as “artist’s residence” to students. They bring a whole new experience. In the afternoon, teachers and students came to the Art Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts to watch Mark Quinn’s “Under the Skin”. The exhibition covers more than 20 sculptures and paintings of Mark Quinn in the past 30 years. It is also a systematic exhibition, which enables students to fully understand his unique artistic concepts and creative characteristics.

本次观展是“印刷媒体4”课程的校外实践教学，学生们发散思维，与科学和艺术产生碰撞，为今后的专业学习奠定了基础。

The exhibition is an off-campus practical teaching of the course “Printing Media 4”. The students diverge their thinking and collide with science and art, laying a foundation for future professional learning.             

 

 

耿丹国际设计学院位于北京顺义。开设有视传、环艺、产品、数媒、动画、戏美，国际艺术设计院校联盟会员。其中80%以上的教师曾海外学习，数专业开设国际双学位项目，已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作。
