GAD Workshops on Perceptual Exploration
2018年12月7日，耿丹国际设计学院环境设计专业邀请ELISAVA西班牙巴塞罗高级设计工程学院Juan Albert Estevan教授举办知觉探索水墨工作坊。
On December 7, 2018, Professor Juan Albert Estevan of ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, Spain, was invited by the Environmental Design program of Gendan Academy of Design to hold a Perceptual Exploration of Ink workshop.
Juan Albert Estevan 教授是ELISAVA室内设计负责人，生态栖所硕士学位教授，与多所大学和机构进行合作，其中包括“迈向可持续的可居住性”研讨会（墨西哥国立自治大学）、巴塞罗那技术建筑师协会、加泰罗尼亚理工大学、墨西哥国立自治大学建筑学院等，并在多所大学举办讲习班和工作坊。
Professor Juan Albert Estevan is the Head of ELISAVA Interior Design and a Professor for Master’s Degree in Ecological Habitat. He has collaborated with a number of universities and institutions, including the Seminar on “Towards Sustainable Livability” (The National Autonomous University of Mexico), the Barcelona Association of Technical Architects, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, School of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and held lectures and workshops in many universities.

本次Workshop主题为知觉探索，Juan Albert Estevan教授与陈琳老师通过噪音、音乐、图画等手段帮助学生用抽象线条来描绘表达情感、感受、氛围，教会学生将具象思维转化为抽象思维。通过音乐的切换、画面的变化引导学生用水墨自由表达所想所感，帮助学生打开破固有思维限制。
The theme of this workshop is “Perception Exploration”. Professor Juan Albert Estevan and GAD teacher Chen Lin helped students learn how to use abstract lines to express emotions, feelings and atmosphere by ways of noise, music and pictures, and how to transform concrete thinking into abstract thinking. Through music shifting and pictures changing, students are guided to express their thoughts and feelings freely in ink, and break the restrictions of stereotyped thinking.

设计与感知力息息相关，作为空间设计师，敏锐的感知力是做好设计的关键。通过此次知觉探索工作坊，环境设计国际班的同学开阔了设计思维并且提升了空间与感知能力。
Design is closely related to perception. For a space designer, keen perception is the key to a good design product. Students of the International Class of Environmental Design broadened their design thinking and enhanced their spatial and perceptual abilities through this Perceptual Exploration workshop.
