GAD Teachers Participated in the Poster Exhibition on the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up

值改革开放40周年之际，耿丹国际设计学院学术委员会肖勇主任和视觉传达设计专业负责人李恒参加“设计中国40×40 ——以艺术探索致敬改革开放 40 周年海报展”。李恒老师系列海报作品《四十间.四连拍》参展，以艺术探索的方式致敬这一伟大决策。
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up, Xiao Yong, director of the Academic Committee of GAD and Li Heng, head of Visual Communication programme, participated in the “Design of China 40×40 –Pay Tribute to the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up with a Poster Exhibition”. Li Heng’s series of posters, “Four Shots over Forty Years”, got entry in the exhibition and paid tribute to this great policy in the form of artistic exploration.

“改革开放40周年海报展暨全国高校艺术设计专业高峰论坛”由河北美术家协会与河北师范大学主办。展览在全国范围邀请不同年代著名设计教育者及设计师40名，以创新性作品和主题创作展现改革开放以来的辉煌成就，探索艺术服务“人民美好生活”的路径，推动设计创新及学科发展。
Hosted by Hebei Artists Association and Hebei Normal University, the “Poster Exhibition on the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up & National College Art and Design Summit” invited 40 famous design educators and designers of various generations to showcase the brilliant achievements since the reform and opening-up with innovative works and themes, explore the path of serving people’s lives with art, and promote the innovation on design and development of the disciplines.
李恒老师 Mr. Heng Li
我院李恒老师的作品以轻松、直抒胸臆的创作方式，将数字“40”做了图形创意，以具有张力的不同“表情”表现了“改革开放”这一国策的光辉历程以及递进的情感认知变化，表达了“改革开放”的非凡意义。作品在展览期间颇受业界好评。
The work of Li Heng innovated on the graphic “40” in a relaxing and straightforward way. The designs full of expressiveness have resurfaced the glorious course of this national policy and the progressive emotional cognition, which expresses the extraordinary significance of the policy. The work has been well-received by the industry during the exhibition.

改革开放之于中国、之于时代、之于个体，其意义非凡。时代浪潮，恩泽于民。置身于新时代的每一位艺术家和设计师有责任从自己的视角为其创作与传播。希望我院师生能够以此为例，“于家为国，潜心创作”，用艺术与设计创作的形式为祖国发展做出更多贡献。
Be it to the individual, the times and China, reform and opening-up constitutes extraordinary significance. Riding the tide of the times, people have benefited tremendously. Therefore every artist and designer who lives in the new era has the responsibility to depict and express this period of time from his own perspective. I hope that the teachers and students of our school can take this as an example, be fully devoted to art design and creation both for our home and nation, and make more contributions to the development of the motherland in the form of art and design.
