GAD Participate in the Opening Ceremony of "Urban Transgression" workshop

 

  

3月25日，耿丹国际设计学院院长林子杰、教学办主任石玲敏、环境国际负责人陈琳、环境设计教师王洪洲带领17名学生受邀参加台湾大叶大学 “城市越界”工作坊开幕式。此次工作坊由台湾大叶大学主办、携手台中市政府、台中市建筑师公会、文化部文化资产局，邀请西班牙、葡萄牙、荷兰知名建筑师，由耿丹国际设计学院、东京ICS College of Art、台湾大叶大学的110名师生共同参与，以台中市民广场侧边人行步道为基地，运用环保材质制作空间装置。
On March 25, Lin Zijie, Dean of GAD, Shi Lingmin, Director of Teaching Office, Chen Lin, Director of International Environment Design, Wang Hongzhou, Teacher of Environmental Design, and 17 students were invited to attend the opening ceremony of the "Urban Transgression" workshop of Taiwanese Daye University. The workshop was sponsored by Taichung Daye University and joined hands with the Taichung Municipal Government, Taichung Architects Association and the Cultural Assets Bureau of the Ministry of Culture. It invited renowned architects from Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands, and 110 teachers and students from GAD, Tokyo ICS College of Art and Taiwanese Daye University to participate in the workshop. The pedestrian walkway on the side of Taichung Citizen Square was used as a base for environmental protection materials with quality production of space devices.

开幕式首先由台湾大叶大学校长梁卓中致词，梁校长指出大叶大学是台湾第一所导入德国式工业大学精神的大学，透过德国师徒制全方位辅导，培育学生跨领域专长与国际竞争力。梁校长介绍了本届工作坊的国际专家和参与院校的带队领导，并表示由衷的感谢和热烈的欢迎。大叶大学空间设计系系主任林志峰对本届工作坊形成的背景、与耿丹国际设计学院及ICS College of Art结识的渊源、以及开启本届工作坊的主题、内容、目的作了全面的介绍。
The opening ceremony was first addressed by Liang Zhuozhong, president of Taiwanese Daye University. President Liang pointed out that Daye University was the first university in Taiwan to introduce the spirit of German-style University of technology. Through all-round tutoring of German apprenticeship system, it fostered students’cross-disciplinary expertise and international competitiveness. Principal Liang introduced the international experts of this workshop and the leaders of participating universities, and expressed his heartfelt thanks and warm welcome. Lin Zhifeng, Dean of the Department of Space Design, Daye University, gave a comprehensive introduction to the background of the workshop, the origin of his acquaintance with GAD and ICS College of Art, and the theme, content and purpose of the workshop.

开幕式上林子杰院长致词：bat365官网登录入口非常重视国际化办学，学校创造优质条件鼓励学生在大学四年期间走向世界各地学习交流，此次“城市越界工作坊”集结了国际专家与东方文化背景下的跨地域学员相遇宝岛台湾，共同以“城市越界”探讨公共艺术，定能绽放学生智慧、为宝岛奉献新的文化景观。林子杰院长与大叶设计艺术学院院长黄子坤代表两校签订了合作协议，并期待可以创造更多跨学科、跨专业、跨地域的合作交流机会。
Speech by Dean Lin Zijie at the opening ceremony: Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology attaches great importance to international running schools. The school creates high-quality conditions to encourage students to study and exchange around the world during the four years of university. This "Urban Transgression" gathers international experts and cross-regional students from the Oriental cultural background to meet Taiwan and discuss public art with "Urban Transgression". It will surely bring out students’wisdom and contribute new cultural landscape to Taiwan. Dean Lin Zijie and Dean Huang Zikun of Daye Institute of Design and Art signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities, and look forward to creating more opportunities for cross-disciplinary, cross-professional and cross-regional cooperation and exchanges.

开幕式上来自葡萄牙的工作坊导师Filipa Frois Almeida和Hugo Reis分享了他们的公共艺术作品，进一步阐述了此次工作坊创作的内容、展示的方式以及所要表现的主题内涵，请期待进一步的交流合作。
At the opening ceremony, Filipa Frois Almeida and Hugo Reis, workshop mentors from Portugal, shared their public works of art. They further elaborated on the content of the workshop, the way it was presented and the theme to be expressed. Please look forward to further exchanges and cooperation.

下午，林子杰院长以“遇见——公共艺术”为主题举办了专题演讲，他以人类发展过程中不同阶段的重大危机和当下数字化智能化时代的新遭遇来探讨公共艺术新的遇见及艺术背后的公共性价值，为此次工作坊教学提供了全球语境下的文化思考和精神追逐。
In the afternoon, Dean Lin Zijie gave a special speech on the theme of "Meeting-Public Art". He explored the new encounter of public art and the public value behind it with the great crisis in different stages of human development and the new experience in the digital intelligent era. This provided cultural thinking and spiritual pursuit in the global context for the workshop teaching.

随后，“城市越界”工作坊三校同学进行交叉分组并进行工作坊小组探讨，三校学生联合成组，在感知、体验、创新中进行思维与文化的交流、碰撞。本次工作坊将于26-28日在台中文创园区创意和设计，28日下午至29日上午在台中市市民广场进行现地组装，29日下午进行成果发表与展出，期待同学们的优秀成果。
Subsequently, the students of the three schools were divided into groups and discussed in the workshop. The students of the three schools jointly formed groups to communicate and collide with each other in perception, experience and innovation. The workshop will be held in Taichung City People’s Square from the afternoon of 28th to the morning of 29th. The results will be published and exhibited in the afternoon of 29th. We look forward to the excellent achievements of the students.  

 

耿丹国际设计学院位于北京顺义。开设有视传、环艺、产品、数媒、动画、戏美，国际艺术设计院校联盟会员。其中80%以上的教师曾海外学习，数专业开设国际双学位项目，已与国际百所大学交流并与42所大学建立合作。
