耿丹国际设计学院“字画像”工作坊

GAD Typographic Self -portrait Workshop 

 

 

2月25日至3月8日,耿丹国际设计学院视觉传达17级国际班的同学在李恒老师的带领下,开展了为期两周的“字画像”工作坊。

From February 25 to March 8, students of Grade 17 International Class of Visual Communication of GAD, under the leadership of the instructor Li Heng, conducted a two-week Workshop on “Self-Portraits”.

本次工作坊内容为自画像创作和个人名片设计,每个学生根据自己的头像创作出属于自己的LOGO,要求只使用印刷体字符(即字体、标点符号和数字)进行创作,学生们在老师的指导下观察、提取元素、概括符号、最终图形创意,用抽象线条来描绘情感、感受、氛围,提高了学生简化图形和抽象审美的能力,在英文授课的环境下,学生们提高了专业英语听说读写的能力。

The content of this workshop is self-portrait creation and personal business card design. Each student creates their own LOGO according to their own head image, requiring only the use of printed characters (i.e. fonts, punctuation symbols and numbers) to create. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students observe, extract elements, summarize symbols, and ultimate graphic creativity, and use abstract lines to depict emotions, feelings and atmosphere. It improves students’ ability to simplify graphics and abstract aesthetics. Under the English teaching environment, students improve their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing in professional English.

设计与观察息息相关,作为设计师,敏锐的观察能力是做好设计的关键。通过本次工作坊,同学们开阔了设计思维,提升了观察能力与审美能力。

Design and observation are closely related. As a designer, keen observation ability is the key to a good design. Through this workshop, the students broadened their design thinking and enhanced their observation and aesthetic ability.
