Teachers and Students of GAD participate in the Lecture of Landscape Planning of Peking University 

 

 

3月1至15日，耿丹国际设计学院16级环境设计专业景观建筑工作室学生在李明老师带队下参加北京大学建筑与景观学院“2019乡村与农业景观规划设计”系列讲座。
 From March 1 to 15, students from Landscape Architecture Studio of Grade 16 of GAD participated in a series of lectures on "Planning and Design of Rural and Agricultural Landscapes in 2019" of School of Architecture and Landscape, Peking University, led by the instructor Li Ming.

师生们听取了三期讲座，分别为俞孔坚教授的“慢城是个美丽中国梦”、何崴教授的“从乡村到野外”、孔祥伟老师的“回家设计——营造未来乡村”。
Teachers and students listened to three lectures: Professor Yu Kong-jian’s "Slow City is a beautiful Chinese Dream", "From Village to Field" by Professor He Wei, and Professor Kong Xiangwei’s "Home Design – Building Future Village".

俞孔坚教授提出西方的“慢城”是城市，而中国的“慢城”是乡村。过去几十年间，中国经济快速发展，城市化进程加快，国人的生活节奏和与环境之间的关系急需转变。“慢生活”在当今浮躁的社会是每个中国人的诉求，以“慢生活”为切入点进行乡建，可以达到乡村振兴的目的。
Professor Yu Kong-jian proposed that the "slow city" in the West is a city, while the "slow city" in China is a village. Over the past decades, China’s economy has developed rapidly, urbanization has accelerated, and the pace of life of Chinese people and the relationship with the environment need to change urgently. "Slow Life" is the demand of every Chinese in today’s impetuous society. Rural construction based on "Slow Life" can achieve the goal of rural revitalization.

何崴教授以“西河粮油博物馆及村民活动中心”、“爷爷家青年旅舍”、“上坪古村复兴计划”、“白石酒吧”、“熔岩美术馆”等实际项目为依据，探讨分享了当下乡村建设的实际情况及实施过程中与乡民沟通接触的注意事项。
Professor He Wei, based on the practical projects such as "Xihe Grain and Oil Museum and Villagers’ Activity Center", "Grandpa’s Youth Hostel", "Shangping Old Town Revival Plan", "Baishi Bar", "Lava Gallery", discussed and shared the actual situation of rural construction and the matters needing attention in communication and contact with villagers in the process of implementation.

孔祥伟老师认为由于经济体的转移，大量“空心村”出行，乡村人群的主体成为老人和孩子。通过对这些“空心村”建筑的再设计，在其功能上进行延续和增添，吸引新的人群到这里消费，为空心村提供新的经济体，是为“空心村”注入生机的方法。
Professor Kong Xiangwei believes that due to the transfer of the economy, a large number of "hollow villages" travel, the main part of the rural population become the elderly and children. Through the redesign of these "hollow village" buildings, we can continue and increase their functions, attract new people to consume here, and provide new economy for the "hollow village", which is the way to inject vitality into the "hollow village".

通过参加三次讲座，同学们了解到“乡村振兴”是当今社会的重要议题，为破败的乡村寻找新的发展方向刻不容缓。身为景观专业的学生，在乡村建设中如何结合自己的专业知识改善乡村的现状，是值得同学们思考的问题
Through attending three lectures, the students learned that "rural revitalization" is an important issue in today’s society, and it is urgent to find a new direction for the development of dilapidated villages. As a landscape major student, how to improve the current situation of the countryside with their own professional knowledge in rural construction is a problem worthy of students’ consideration.
