The lecture was entitled “DESIGN AS A WAY OF COMMUNICATION”. Professor Marián Laššák believes that design should be a way to communicate between people and objects. A good design should be related with users and arouse their memories and emotions. Designers need the perception superior to ordinary people in order to find out the subtle emotional changes and the role of products in people’s life, and combine them with design. Professor Marian also presented Slovak students’ works, which showed the importance of design in communicating people and things.
